How To Style The Classic Chanel Bag

Coco Chanel changed the game of fashion.

Her style was innovative, and daring for her time; but it proved to be classic and everlasting. Her elegance has extended through the years, and has made a lasting impression on the fashion world; however, her style is not the only admirable quality about her. She was passionate, determined, and strong - a true inspiration for women.

I've always been obsessed with Chanel couture. So, I've decided to create 4 different looks based around the classic Chanel bag.

Look 1: During Coco Chanel's time, pants were generally only worn by men; but Coco redefined women's fashion - making pants fashionable for women. This outfit is inspired by Chanel's redefinition of women's fashion, and traditional female silhouettes. It also has a more modern feel with ripped jeans, and a low-cut neckline. This also has a masculine feel, from the boyfriend jeans, but is balanced out with the sexy flowy top. Finishing off the outfit with some accessories also keeps the outfit looking classic and chic.

Look 2: This is more of a casual, everyday look. The floral, flowy dress will keep you nice and comfortable during the day. Then paired with these chic accessories, this look has a more polished, sophisticated feel!

Look 3: Chanel had classy style, with high necklines and chic accessories. So, this look is a bit more fancy, and it emulates the classic Chanel look. But yet, the shoes and accessories give this look a bit more of a modern, cool feel.

Look 4: This look has a 90s, sporty vibe - inspired by Clueless, one of my favorite movies. I love that this outfit is so casual, and it shows how versatile the classic Chanel bag can be. This bag can be worn with almost anything.

The black quilted Chanel bag is a classic piece, and can be styled so many different ways. Having a black quilted bag is definitely a closet essential.
