How To Style The Canadian Tuxedo
This is a trend that I've been seeing a lot of lately in street fashion. The Canadian Tuxedo is definitely a great look to try out this summer! Styled appropriately, this trend can be perfect for so many different situations.
The looks I put together below are for a variety of different occasions - from super casual to a little bit more dressed up!
Look 1: This is a perfect look for hanging around the boardwalk/beach with friends. It's perfect for the summer because the items are lightweight, and will keep you nice and cool during those hot summer days.

Look 3: I love pairing a longer shirtdress over jeans because it's more unexpected. This outfit is very simple, but I love that there are many different textures to keep the outfit interesting and cool. Since this is a monochrome outfit, I like the idea of pairing it will some accessories that have a pop of color, to add a little more dynamic to the ensemble.
Items: Top, CP Shades Teton Chambray Shirt Dress // Bottoms, Boyfriend Jeans // Bag, Vera Bradley Emma Mini Crossbody in Chambray // Shoes, BC Footwear Terrier Platform Wedge Sandal // Necklace, Zara Chain And Bead Necklace // Case, iPhone Plumbago Blossoms - pastel blue & white
Look 4: I love this look for a casual, relaxed summer day. This look is comfortable, yet polished; and I think that it's perfect for a picnic with friends. I really love longer shorts right now, because they have more of an androgynous feel. These shorts would look great with a simple chambray button-up top, styled with a messy tuck - to keep it casual, and also to make it a little bit more flattering to your figure.
Items: Top, LTB PUKKA Blouse chambrey // Bottoms, Charlie Rocket Boy's Pull on Chambrey Short at MYHABIT // Bag, Carre Royal Credit Card Envelope Clutch // Shoes, TOMS Women's Chambray Classic // Accessories, River Island Light brown half frame retro sunglasses, Mirror Gold Pineapple Acrylic Post Earrings, Wanderlust + Co Frame Triangle Necklace // Hat, Junior David & Young Floppy Straw Hat // Basket, Brittany Chambrey - Picnic basket
Look 5: This outfit is inspired by some of the most stylish people right now - the Kardashians. Kim and Kylie were seen wearing Canadian Tuxedos, and their looks were amazing. Jean skirts are very in right now, and spicing it up by showing a little stomach will make this look a little bit more edgy.

Canadian tuxedos are a hot trend. With a monochromatic color scheme and cool textures, you can really create an interesting ensemble.
I hope these looks have given you some good ideas and inspiration for your next look!
